In the Faculty of Civil Engineering we offer an extensive teaching program on the foundations and applications of Computational Sciences in Engineering. The program ranges from basic techniques in engineering informatics over modelling of products and processes in Civil and Environmental Engineering to numerical simulation.

In many research projects we develop methods in Numerical Mechanics, Construction Informatics and Building Simulation. We cooperate world-wide with many research institutions as well as with enterprises, consulting engineers and software houses. This interdisciplinary cooperation not only focuses on Civil- and Environmental Engineering, likewise important are joint research projects with Applied Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanical Engineering.
